Welcome To Blue Planet Hub
After hosting the first Blue Economy Conference in 2018, the Eastern and Southern Africa region is now fully engaged on the road of developing its blue economy. Such economy represents great promises for the region in terms of economic benefits, but it is of paramount importance that such economy develops on sustainable premises that ultimately enable the conservation of the blue natural capital of the region as well as provide direct benefits to local communities.
Blue Planet Hub is part of the Regional Resource Hub (RRH), a knowledge hub for the Eastern and Southern African region that supports better decision making for fair and effective management and governance of protected and conserved areas.
